i wanna try something i don´t know weather i am ready to write about that subject but it is a subject that bathers my for a while we all see a civilized society as a peaceful society a society that lives in harmony with it´s neighbors and does them no harm but looking into the past we find another picture a picture of societies that live in war in war with their neighbors and i don´t talk about rogue societies i talk about the great nations of the past the mesopotamien societies egypt greece rome macedonia illyrian phrygian phoenician even today our greatest society the american never saw a time without war outside and is violent inside and still everything the human civilization ows what it is proud of belongs and origins to societies who never saw a time of peace can we this way support civil development and resist war when everything we see as a symbol of our civilized nation and our advanced development has a tigh to war we are proud of our IT technology proud of our internet and forget that this was created by a military industrial complex interested in evolving in its perfection of destruction and taking other peoples lifes every product of our civilized peaceful middle class life is a product of the military industry and wouldn´t be there if there needs wouldn´t demand for that we want peace and everything we own is a product of war democracy was invented by a society who was never shy of war and who nevery saw or thought of equality of genders rule of law was invented by a society wich never saw a single day of peace all it´s existence even when it became the catholic church it continued to take other peoples lifes our civilization was created by a society wich had the worst tyrannts you can imagine and still urban planning canalization water supply the first civil codex the codex hammurapi are their work it looks like you have to judge societies by what they achieved not what they destroyed i regret not haven been able to make my point with this article but i think it helped me to order some things in my head to enable me to one day write about this what i wanted to say today but couldn´t to question our modern categories of civilized we use when we judge political events we see on television happening in the world to say the foundations of our society and our technological development we owe to societies wich do not meet any of the criterya we use when we judge events of today as i said i will try it again later to write about this subject in the way to make my point to question our modern left wing value system
