may i introduce myself …

i first decided to become a journalist then changed my mind and turned to social sciences instead. after a successful study at college i struggeled to get employed like many graduates. i used the time to spend hours in the library to deepen my knowledge in bordering areas. mostly i read about ancient societies. which helped me alot to question my time as well as myself.

my love for ancient societies began with the study of the works of philosophers like nietzsche, schopenhauer and freud. at that time i read some ancient books like epikureios, pre socratian philosophers, lukrezius. but i had no knowledge of the work of archeologist. my experience with the ancient world was limited to their scripture. it was more literature and philosophy then social sciences.

politically you can count me left wing. but i distance myself from many current political agendas. i think there is more religion then political science behind it. supporting a nihilistic and machiavellistic world view i distance me from current right wing policies as well as left wing policies. for example i am no environmentalist i support atomic energy i support genetic modification i support stem cell research i support gay marriage i refuse religion i refuse family i love cars can´t stand electric cars i don´t like esoterics i don´t like asian cultures and philosophies.
