the 70s had a pharmacy based say drug related hazyness in their mind added to that far eastern philosophy to blur their mind but really it started in the 80s spreading esoterics as a new age drug the 90s gave us ethnic meaning foreign right wing world view parallel to that development the right wing governments in major countries spread their christian – jewish right wing world view in the 2000th moslems demanded equality more openly and spread their lunacy to the already existing darkness in the western world
lately religous groups pushing ahead gaining ground boldly demanding their worldview more presence in public life. for many it seems like a new development, but if you look clearly you might see that this took a long time. the darkness we live in today not only comes from the religious right wing groups, doesn´t matter which religious orientation, it also had, always similar to the right wing push, a left wing religious movement, that supported, not willingly, but unintentionally, thinking opposing the right wing movements, but in reality supporting all their acts.
of course to simplify my point i leave out that left wing morality is in fact a secular, monotheistic, philosophy, just strapped out of god and the other stories, but in fact the same movement, pushing the same target in a different way in in different clothes, but in the same amount destructive like the three religions. of course the big asian religions are no less dangerous to the mind and society as the western monotheistic ones, but let´s keep it simple for our explanation.
the 70s had a drug based youth culture, a counter culture to the existing bourgoise society. they took their cultural counter movement, will say their adolescent uprising against their parents society, in far eastern philosophies and religions. actually there was no secularization in the 70s. it was an exchange of christian/jewish religion monotheistic religion with budhistic and hinuistic religions. no clearing of the mind no awakening of the individual. just an exchange of one tyranny against the free mind with another tyrant. as if they would like to say we had enough of getting beaten by this guy we want to get beaten by that guy´s from now on. that generation never said we don´t want to get beaten anymore. they kept the religon and esotheric in our contemporary culture.
the 80s had a urban culture. different from the tree hugging, nature loving 70s generation. however they did not give up esoterics at all. the new wave generation had also their hidden religousity even if they did not talk it out like previous or following generation. however all of them turned religous in the 90s. they had no liberating movement at all. the yuppy generation was indeed just a, let´s say apolitic, uneffective time for human society.
the 90s however made a sharp u-turn in every aspect. the right wing brung back their monotheistic theocracy, in the face of the several right wing governments in america, as well as in europe. the left wing had another religous movement against he right wing push. it brought the idea of ethnic into contemporary culture. and they thought it is a liberating factor against the right wing movement taking more and more place in that time. they thought their local working class ethnic groups and their culture would be a good balance against the middle class bourgoise religiosity and culture. instead of an open class discussion they had a foreign ethnic against established ethnic movements. however they forgot to see that there is by no means any difference between that two. and they were effective as the generation of the 70s were.
the 2000th generation had an embolded moslem generation. will say more and more demanding for being a visible presence in contemporary culture. some left wings jumped on that wagon. the right wings responded with their established version of religon. however no one had any thoughts of getting rid of religion or ethnicity. on the other hand an also bold movement of questioning science, will say replace science with so called alternatives to science, will say alternatives to medicine etc. wanted to replace scientific models of world explanation with their esoteric models. right wing monotheistic groups, wich religion doesn´t matter, they all three did the same made their advancement to replace scientific models of explanation of reality and world with their models and demanding ending several scientific researches due to their religious models: cloning, stem cell, abortion, gen technology etc. – as we see the last decade also showed no scientific liberating process. it was also signed by an attack of left wing and right wing to replace science with other models. and unfortunately they have been very successful.
